My Go-To Jobsite Vac: DEWALT 20V MAX Review
I’ve run a lot of shop vacs into the ground over the years, and I can spot a gimmick the second I pick one up. The DEWALT DCV581H? This thing means business. Right out of the box, it’s got that solid, job-site-ready feel – nothing rattling, nothing flimsy. The dual-power setup is what sold me first: plug it in when you’ve got juice nearby, yank the cord and slap in a 20V MAX battery when you don’t. Two gallons is plenty for cleaning up around a work area, and that HEPA filter actually traps the fine dust that wrecks your lungs over time. The wide nozzle handles both wet spills and dry debris without fussing around. I’ve thrown this vac into some genuinely messy situations, and it keeps showing up ready to work. Exactly what I expect from DEWALT.
