Do you need to extend the reach of your Chainsaw then you may need the Milwaukee Quick lock The Milwaukee 2825 which is their quick Lock 10 inch pole saw now you get the Pole saw attachment you get the quick Lock power head which Powers string Trimmers edgers and many other things Hedge trimmers you name it as well as This pole saw and you get an extension In here as well which extends well Beyond the reach of a normal chainsaw of Course it does anyway let's dive in and Take a closer look at each one of these Features then we'll actually go out and Use it then we'll come back and talk About the performance talk about what we Thought of it as well as pricing and Warranty So this is the Milwaukee 2825 which is Their 10 inch pole saw and it goes along With the quick lock attachment system so We get the quick lock M18 fuel power Head we get the 10 inch pole saw and we Get the extension as well we'll get a Measurement on the true measurement of The reach on this here in a few moments As we mentioned it's a 10 inch pole saw So we get a 10 inch bar and chain and The chain is a 3 8 o43 low profile chain Which is pretty typical on any of the Electric pole saws and really on any of Your kind of finer cutting chainsaws as Well now we'll take the cover off here

In a few moments and take a look at that Now chain speed is or actually we get a Motor speed or shaft speed of 4600 RPM We'll translate that into a chain speed Here in just one moment so we have the Tensioner that's right here and then we Have the studded nut that's obviously Going to retain wherever we set that so That's going to hold hold the bar in Place and keep the chain at the proper Tension and as that chain stretches then We can loosen this nut and give it a few Tightens right here on the only Flathead Screw and purchasing the kit which would Be the 2825-21 you also get a charger and the XC 8.0 high output battery again when You buy the kit now the quick lock Attachment system this power head will Run your string trimmer or run your Edger in fact we did a complete kind of Quick lock review of this we'll have a Link in the description for you to check That out as well so let's kind of dig in Take a closer look under the hood of This and we'll go ahead and put these Attachments on I like the handle and Position the strap as well So you get a scrunch with the kit so This will take care of removing this nut As well as having your screwdriver for Tightening the tension on the chain Pull the guard off And you'll notice right here on the bar

Is the item number for you to order this Bar and I believe the chain runs Somewhere 20 25 bucks and it's a 10 inch Chain 043 and it looks like the uh 40 Tooth probably so 90-40 is that's Telling us that's probably a 40 tooth Chain now I did want to take a closer Look here number one here's your Tensioner here that rides up and down so As you turn This right here that's going to change The location of that pin right there Moving that bar and chain in and out Tightening it up on that chain and this Little over right here right there in The edge is actually your Oiler so That's going to do your oiling so here's Your oil tank and that oil is going to Come through that little hole right There and fill up in this oval right Here which lines up with the hole in This bar and by the way Your bar can be ran this way or this way So turn it upside down every now and Then and keep flipping that over and Back and that will wear that bar much Better because it's always going to wear On one side so flip that over from time To time at least every time you sharpen The chain now we'll take a look here and I want to get an idea of the number of Teeth on the sprocket so one two three Four five six so it looks like a six Tooth sprocket let me make sure that

Again one two Three four five six yeah so that's a six Tooth sprocket the reason I want to know Is I know that we're 4600 RPM but I want to Know my chain speed and I'm going to Measure so every 16th one two three four Five six is right at four and a half Inches A little less than four and a half so Let's actually call it 4.4 times 4600 Equals that's twenty thousand two forty That gives me inches per minute And so I wanted to divide by 60 And that equals 337 but that's inches Per second so I'll divide that by 12. Equals 28 feet per second so we get a Chain speed of 28 feet per second on This I want to set that tension where I can Just Almost see the top of those teeth Tighten that up just a bit And with this being brand new it's going To stretch pretty quick so we want to be On a little bit of a tighter side There we go Yeah that's good And I want to get a measurement Which by the way the quick lock system You'll see just Line these up Loosen that thumb screw a little It locks into place so you hear it lock

That button pops up so you can see there I've got the button depressed now once It slides in and engages it pops up So then you know you're locked in and Then you can Tighten this to give you a little more Stability and really lock that down And so you can use it just like that I'm Going to measure from the tip of the Blade To the handle itself the middle of the Handle so we're right at 69 inches Without the extension in there so we're Right at 69 inches from the tip of the Saw blade to the middle of the handle Same way add an extension Very simple Slide that in lock it tighten it down Lock that down And now you'll see you get a little bit Of bow and flex in the In the body of the uh of the attachment Or in the body of the extension but it's Not overwhelming Again you can definitely feel some flex But you would expect so in how long this Is so now I'm going to get a measurement And we'll go from the tip Of the blade and tip of the blade to the Middle of the handle you're looking at Right at 105 inches Now I think they're only claiming 80 or 90 inches so we're actually getting Further than what they're claiming

Definitely with the extension in there And again I'm not measuring to the back Of the saw measuring from the tip to the Middle of the handle where you're going To be holding this Okay I'm going to take our battery put It in And then get a weight on this and I'll Just kind of have to hold this up so With the extension And the eight no battery and the saw Looks like a right dead on 15 pounds Maybe just a touch heavier or maybe a Touch under we'll call that 15 pounds And then let's get a weight without the Extension So right at 12 and three quarter pounds 12 pounds 13 Ounces Without the extension on there and That's with the battery So you're looking at 12 and a half to 15 Pounds depending on the configuration You have Go ahead and oil this up So we went ahead and added our extension Back in so you can see we have the full Extension Foreign Makes very quick work of those smaller Limbs and even the thicker you go Foreign and it will definitely take care Of bigger stuff as well Give a little undercut on that one

This is definitely overboard for a pole Saw but just to show you that's probably An eight inch trunk right there and We'll go ahead and take this out Foreign As far as run time is concerned it's Really going to depend on number one What battery which battery you're Running as well as you know what type of Material are you cutting through Obviously the thicker the log or the Branch the more battery it's going to Consume but you're going to get they They say like 150 Cuts per battery on The 8.0 battery but again that really Depends but I will tell you you're going To get probably well into the hundred Cuts before you deplete a battery First thing this Cuts really well even Though it's a small 10 inch bar and Chain as far as power to cut it does Very well also has a decent chain speed Also which is quicker than the M18 Hatchet that we actually just reviewed And we love that little guy it's got Tons of torque this has got more chains Being than that 4600 RPM which is an Equated to I think 28 feet per second And it's running in 0.43 3 8 low profile Chain which is most of your electric or Cordless chainsaws the smaller chainsaws That's mostly what you'll find on those Especially the 8 10 12 inch versions but This works remarkably well with the

Extension in there we're getting over 100 inches of reach which we showed you We were reaching up pretty far to cut Some of those Limbs and uh actually came Close to the camera on a few occasions But we were safe from it for sure we Love the standard stud and nut for bar Retention and chain tension on this we Don't like those quick adjusters or kind Of self-adjusters we would rather see That typical stud and nut and then the Chain tensioner there very easy to make Tensioning adjustments on this and then The the oil tank seems to not leak yet But we found that most chainsaws just Over time like to leak a little bit so If you don't want it to leak then dump Your oil out when you're done with it But again this thing works really well We love the fact that the battery in the Motor is here on the other end so it Really counterweights a lot of that even When you have that extension on there And then if you want to you can add the Strap as well And with the strap on there then you can Add that weight to your shoulders and Offset more of that that it's hanging Out the front so you can definitely add That if you want to for Quick Cuts and Things like that I don't like to throw The strap on there I just don't see that I need it but again if you want it there It is it does have two speeds on this

But more so I think for your for your Edging and string trimming we find that With a chainsaw I'm just going to leave It on high and let it cut through there As quick as it can especially when You've got it you know extended all the Way out and you're really bearing that Way you want to make that cut as quick As possible but whether you're you know Trimming up palms or actually doing Storm cleanup or you know getting things Out of the way so you can do work this Thing is going to work quick and it's Also going to be you know not a hassle You don't have to worry about oil and Gas well as far as the gas oil and gas Of course you need to worry about Bar Oil and add it to keep your chain Lubricated but as far as the other as Far as fueling it up you don't have to Worry about that make sure you got a Charge battery which by the way all the Cutting we did that you saw on camera we Did with this battery and we still have Three bars left no joke so I know we Didn't make a ton of cuts but we Probably made 40 Cuts probably and a lot Of that in bigger stuff and still have Three bars of the four left on this 8-0 Battery so you're going to get a lot of Cuts on a single battery price on this Is 2.99 for the bear tool meaning the Power head the extender as well as the Pole saw is going to run you 2.99 and

You're going to get a three year Warranty now if you want the kit it also Adds and by the way you get a strap in That as well and then if you want to add The battery the 8-0 battery and the Charger in the kit that's going to run You about 449 and again you're going to Get a three year warranty on that so Check it out for yourselves we'll have a Description we'll have a description We'll have a link in the description and Be sure to follow us on Instagram Facebook Twitter and even Tick Tock and If you don't mind when you hit that like And subscribe button if you haven't done So already and by all means if you hated Our video then give us a thumbs down but Will you let us know in the comments why Have a great day and keep smiling
